Dorman OE Fix Cooling Fans with enhanced modules outperform the OE by maintaining optimal speed at extreme operating temperatures for longer periods of time. OE designed fans can't handle intense heat and extended use - such as in police and fleet vehicles - and fail above 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Our OE Fix Cooling Fan Assembly is redesigned with military-grade, high-heat-threshold computer control chips. We also redesigned the heat dissipation solution, adding a smart circuit board layout, a more effective heat sink and a thermal pad for faster and more consistent heat dispersion. We even added new software to control fan speeds at the highest temperatures, extending operating performance. All this means that while OE fans are not rated above 250 degrees Fahrenheit, Dorman's OE Fix Cooling Fans operate up to 300 degrees. These assemblies are easy to install, with the motor, shroud, blade and module all included for a complete installation.
